Director George Miller, who has been at the helm of all three previous Mad Max films, has returned for Fury Road, and claims that a majority of the effects in the film were practical. Check out some of the insane stunts they did for real in this almost-20 minute BTS video:

Just how did they pull of those rad moves in the super cool timelapse video FADE? With a very cute custom made DIY Wooden Dolly of course. The guys had a neat compact wooden dolly that uses four different gear motors for controlling the speed manufactured by Designed&Made. Joshua VP and crew then used the rig at Lake Powell Utah to pull off some slick time lapse moves.
