2019: meeting Loïc Roch
In 2019, I met Loïc Roch. As a photographer and director of films and documentaries, I began exploring a question with him: could artificial intelligence write a screenplay?
We started experimenting. At the time, we tried to build our own system using documents, screenplays and dialogue. The results were inconclusive. That first attempt is nevertheless part of my history with AI.
From screenplay to image
Today, that story continues with Studioediting — AI Film Studio. AI creation joins my practice of photography, directing and editing. It opens up a new space to create images, imagine worlds and tell stories.
The director’s eye
Studioediting’s guiding thread remains the same: intent, art direction and the craft of image-making. AI takes its place in this journey alongside filming and postproduction.
