AI video: preparing your campaign brief
Before choosing a tool, let’s clarify what your film needs to achieve. Here are the points to gather for a useful first conversation with a studio.
Practical guide · Studioediting · 28 October 2026

1. What is the film’s purpose?
Introducing a launch, establishing a world or explaining a service call for different scripts. Define one main objective and the audience you want to reach.
2. What must remain accurate?
Product shape, wording, logos and visible features need particular attention. Identify these from the start. They guide the choice between AI creation, live-action footage and hybrid production.
3. What world would you like to create?
A few references with notes are more useful than a long list of effects. Explain what interests you in each example: lighting, rhythm, emotion or composition. Your brand guidelines complete these intentions.
4. Where will the film be shown?
Website, social media or advertising campaign: formats, duration, sound and text placement should be planned around the channels. Consider adaptations during the briefing stage.
5. What are the budget and schedule?
Share a budget range, deadline and approval contacts. Research and testing need time in the schedule, alongside editing and finishing.
6. What materials can you provide?
Gather your brand guidelines, images, available product files and details of their usage rights. List the expected deliverables so the proposal meets your needs.
